In a spirit of collaboration and mutual support, representatives from the Vietnamese Expert Association in Taiwan (VNEAT), led by President Phung Van Bang and Vice President Nguyen Duy Tong, visited the Vietnam Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei (VECO) on January 23, 2024, to extend warm New Year wishes. The visit became an opportunity to reinforce ties and discuss the priorities for the upcoming term.

President Phung Van Bang expressed sincere wishes for a year of prosperity and success for VECO, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared goals within the Vietnamese community in Taiwan. He conveyed VNEAT’s commitment to fostering a vibrant community and promoting cultural exchanges.

The Chief of VECO reciprocated the New Year greetings and congratulated VNEAT on the recent election of its executive committee. Recognizing the pivotal role of VNEAT in supporting the Vietnamese community, the Chief expressed hope for further achievements and advancements in the new term. During the meeting, the Chief suggested key focus areas for VNEAT’s activities in the coming year, highlighting semiconductors, renewable energy, and biomedicine as critical sectors. He emphasized the potential for growth and collaboration in these fields, aligning with the technological advancements and opportunities in Taiwan.

President Phung Van Bang welcomed the Chief’s recommendations, acknowledging the strategic importance of these sectors. He assured that VNEAT would actively explore opportunities in semiconductors, renewable energy, and biomedicine, aiming to create programs that empower the community in these areas.
